The DERC Portable Rupture Disc Holder is a safety system between pump and used tool. When the tool you want to use has a lower maximum working pressure than your high pressure pump, you can mount the Portable Rupture Disc Holder between the pump and the tool.
The DERC Rupture Disc Holder holds a rupture disc which has a given maximum pressure before it breaks. When the pressure gets higher than the rupture disc permits, the rupture disc will break out, which results in an immediate system pressure drop. Therefore it never exceeds the maximum pressure of the mounted bursting disc.
The DERC Rupture Disc Holder should always be sealed with seal wire and associated bursting seal after placing the rupture disc. In this way, the safety is ensured and it is always clear what type of bursting disc is mounted in the holder.
The portable version is available in two versions with a working pressure of 1000 or 1500 bar: M24 and M36 inlet/outlet.
